Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in Greenville, SC In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

Where is the work:
Onsite: This position has been designated as On-Site.
What you will do:
- Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
- Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
- Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
- Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
- Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
- Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
- Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
What you will bring:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Process Flow, PFMEA & Control Plan experience required
- Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design
- Demonstrated new product introduction experience required, including planning, development and implementation
- Demonstrated leading and managing multiple projects, using project management tools and methodologies
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects using A3 methodologies such as PDCA and 9 step problem solving
- 6 Sigma Green belt certification preferred
- DELMIA Apriso experience preferred
- Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
- Growth mindset - desire to expand technical skillset.
- Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus
- Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
Compensation:
Salary - $63,500 - $100,000
Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
